Almost everyone has a trampoline accident story.
This is mine.
My best friend Katherine, her neighbor Maddie, and I were at Maddie's house on her trampoline. It was summer and really freaking hot so we decided to go in her pool for a bit. I guess we didn't really think things through but the next thing we know we are jumping on the trampoline wet.
Just moments before Katherine said "I really hope we don't fall."
Maddie was still in the pool and Katherine was just getting off the trampoline to go back in the pool when I hit the side of the trampoline and slipped off. She didn't have any net on the trampoline so I fell off the dang thing. I fell into a chair, sideways, that we used to get on and off. Though that was funny enough, the chair decided it didn't like me and tried to kick me out of it. The darn thing fell back wards and sent me rolling out of it onto the concrete and grass area.
This was one of the best days in my life because it was so hilarious. You may laugh because I sure as heck did!.
Maddie and Katherine just looked at me and started laughing. Between gasps Katherine managed to ask if I was alright, since I was still laying there. I couldn't answer because I was laughing to hard. She then fell over from laughing too hard.
A few days... or maybe even a week later Katherine got her serving of Trampoline Madness. Maddie's dad was out side throwing the football to us. Katherine was on the trampoline catching everyone that was thrown her way. Maddie's dad threw the ball a little too much to the left and Katherine, being the "I can catch it," type of person, jumped off the trampoline to catch the ball. She jumped straight into a bush! This was my time to deliver the "are you alright" line. The only problem was that I was laughing to hard to even say that.
Man, best friends are amazing.
