Remember when getting high meant swinging on a playground? When scabbed knees were the most pain we experienced? When dressing up like an adult was actually fun. Remember when protection only meant using a bike helmet? Remember when sleeping with someone meant staying up all night. When race issues were all about who could outrun who. When the only drugs you knew were cough medicine. Remember when players were just kids on sports teams. When bases were the only thing you would steal. When the ice cream man was the only older guy you would see almost every day, aside from your neighbors. Remember when you would actually go outside to play instead of playing video games.
