If you really knew me.

If you really knew me you would know-> My name is Brianna, I'm a few months shy of being 18.

If you really knew me you would know-> I've been dealt my fair share of problems. The hardest time in my life was when my dad was diagnosed with Cerebellum Ataxia. Your brain works as a motor, when circuits short out it is very hard to fix those connections. My dad was diagnosed with C.A., which means his brain short circuited, and is having trouble connecting with his motors (speech, hand-eye coordination, balance). Seeing my dad now, as he can barely get enough air in his lungs to make a full sentence, hurts me. It literally kills me inside, seeing him struggle with tasks that everyone normally takes for granted every day.

If you really knew me you would know-> My uncle past away a year ago, and exactly a day short of that year, one of my dad's best friends past away. I still don't think anyone in my family has gotten over my uncle's passing. I still have my moments where I think of him and cry. I hit a point in my life where my dad was not doing great and I thought he would be next.

If you really knew me you would know-> My best friend has been my friend since before I started kindergarten. We have grown up together, and always been there for each other. I would have picnics with her outside my house, right by the back door. She would always give me a barbie doll for Christmas, no matter how old I was. We have been through so much together, I don't know where I would be without her.

If you really knew me you would know-> I always try to put on a smile. Too many of my friends come to me for advice, and help. I constantly feel like I can't let them down. For this reason, I very rarely say no to anyone. Sometimes I will give up doing something I really want to do, just to make someone else happy.

If you really knew me you would know-> I have had many times in my life where I had felt so alone in the world. Where I would get into a really depressed state, and literally curl up into a ball and cry.
